Mustache Bash, Decor

Let the stache bash begin!  This was such a fun theme for Mama to work with.  I found a great pack of hairy mustaches and started putting them on anything I could...trains, trucks, and even this hippo.
Homemade banana cupcakes with peanut butter cream cheese frosting!
Jo-Anns had some great flannel felt that I used to make napkins from.  The mustache picks are made from stiff brown felt.
Loved using this long table at the park to set up all the cupcakes!
Gifts for our guests:  mustache crayons (in real hair color) with paper pad sets.

Staches used for photo opps!
I sewed these bags for the crayons using wool felt.

The park we had our party at didn't have a huge playground, so we ordered a jump house for more entertainment...it was perfect for the older toddlers!
Mustache pennant flags I sewed (canvas background and black felt staches) for the jump house.
Celebrating your last year, age 12 months-24 months...such great memories!
It was fun to search through Papa's ties (along with 1 stop at the Good Will) to make this "lil man" banner.

Treat table!
Chocolate milk is your current choice of beverage, so it had to be served as your party!
This mirror was a great find at Good Will...with the red striped straws, it kind of has a "barber shop" feel to it.

Pretzels in a brief case.

Homemade mustache white cheddar "gold fish" crackers.

Peanut butter stache sandwiches.

Bella helped Mama make these chocolate mustache lollipops...we covered styrofoam in this checked flannel and drilled holes to stick the pops in!

Israeli cous cous salad with heirloom tomatoes and balsamic dressing for the Mamas.

Barefoot Contessa's tarragon chicken salad croissant sandwiches with bowtie picks.

My Sweet and Saucy Shop (my go-to bakery!) made these lemon shortbread cookies using a darling mustache print I found.

Mama and her lil man...oh how I love thee!  Here you are in your darling mustache shirt, looking way too old.  I just can't believe you're almost TWO.
